Canadian owned and operated family business founded in 1950 by the Dussault family. The name Absco stands for Auto Brake Specialties Company.

Since the beginning Absco has been a leader in the manufacturing of brake shoes and disc pads. Caliper rebuilding started in 1966 and custom brake cables in 1981.
